It's been a year already?!?!?

I finished my year at Think Tank and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out. First of all, if anyone's interested, my demo reel can be viewed here: www.daveanimation.com

A bit about the 3rd and final semester at Think Tank. First of all, if you watched my reel, obviously my focus is on animation. The way it's structured is: I had a primary mentor that I worked with around 1.5 hrs/week, a secondary mentor that I saw around 30 min/week, a third mentor that lectures and critiques all animation students (3 in my class) for 2 hrs/week, and a fourth mentor once/week who makes sure your work is progressing on schedule, but who also provides more feedback. I got LOTS of feedback and instruction. This kind of goes without saying, but the more work you do between mentor sessions, the more feedback you get, and the better you will be.

As it stands now, I am applying for jobs in Vancouver while trying to polish up my demo reel. If I need to I can continue to use a computer at Think Tank (with my own dedicated work station) and get the mentors to critique my work with whatever time they have leftover each week.
Think Tank is a great school, I'd encourage anyone interested to check it out.
